shortlen.com is run by Shortlen. By using the website, or signing up to use the Shortlen service, you agree to these terms.

Using the content

You may read, share and link to the pages on this website. You may quote short parts with a link back to the page. Please do not copy whole pages or present them as your own.

Using the service

If you create an account to shorten, brand or track links with Shortlen, you agree to use the service lawfully. You may not use it to create links that point to malware, phishing pages, or content that is illegal where you or your audience are located, and you may not use the service to send spam, to impersonate another person or business, or to try to disrupt or bypass its normal operation. We may suspend or remove links, or suspend an account, where we reasonably believe this agreement is being broken.

You are responsible for the links you create and for keeping your account credentials secure. Plans are straightforward, with no hidden tiers; details of what each plan includes are confirmed on the pricing page and in writing when you sign up.

Accuracy

We check what we publish and show the date each guide was last updated, but information can change. Prices and terms of sale are the ones we confirm to you in writing.

Links to other sites

We link to other websites as sources, and the Shortlen service lets you create short links that point to destinations you choose. We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites, including the destinations of links created with the service.

No warranty and limits on liability

The website and the Shortlen service are provided as they are, without promises that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, Shortlen is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the website or close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access to the service, for an individual account or generally, where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, or where we need to protect the security or integrity of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page; continuing to use the website or the service after that means you accept the changes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to Shortlen's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This is a general default and has not yet been confirmed by Shortlen; it should be reviewed, and replaced with a specific jurisdiction if one applies, before launch.
