Move your links over without losing any
Already using another shortener? You can bring your links across — keeping the codes where they're free — and you're never locked in afterwards. The import runs in the product at b1.lc/switch.html.
How moving works
- 1
Export from your current tool
Download your links as a CSV from Bitly, Rebrandly, Short.io, TinyURL, Dub, or any spreadsheet you keep them in.
- 2
Upload and preview
Upload the file and see a dry-run preview before anything is created. Column names like long_url, slug and tags are recognised for you.
- 3
Keep your codes
By default your existing back-halves are kept where they're free; you choose new codes or skip on a clash. Every destination is safety-scanned as it comes in.
- 4
Go live with a mapping file
Download an old-to-new mapping file so you can update anywhere an old link was hard-coded, and you're done.
What comes across
An import brings the parts that matter, not just the URLs.
Links and destinations
Every short link and where it points, with its title and notes.
Your back-halves
The custom endings (slugs) are kept where they're still free on the new domain.
Tags and campaigns
Tags come across, and campaigns are created by name so your links stay grouped.
Dates and settings
The original creation date is kept in the notes, along with expiry where your export includes it.
You're never locked in
Preview before anything changes
The dry run shows exactly what will be created — and what would clash — before a single link is made.
A limit you can plan around
Up to 1,000 rows and 10 MB per import; split a bigger export into a few files.
Export whenever you like
Your links are yours: a full export to JSON or CSV is one click away at any time, so you can move on just as easily.
