This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on shortlen.com and in the Shortlen (BN Shortener) service, operated by BroadNet Technologies LLC (New Jersey, USA). In short: we use only strictly-necessary cookies, we set no advertising or tracking cookies of our own, and we do not use cookies to build profiles of you.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way. They can be used to keep you signed in, to remember a preference, or to track people across sites — we use them only for the first two kinds of purpose, never the third.

The cookies we use

Strictly-necessary sign-in cookies. When you sign in to the Shortlen service, we use strictly-necessary cookies (or similar storage) to keep you signed in, to keep your session secure, and to protect against cross-site request forgery. The service does not work without these, so they are not optional.

Cloudflare Turnstile. On forms and sign-in, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly bot check, to tell real people from automated abuse. Turnstile may set a short-lived cookie or use similar storage to carry out that check; Cloudflare processes this under its own privacy policy as our provider.

Google Fonts. We serve our typography using Google Fonts. These requests load font files and do not set advertising cookies.

Cookies we do not use

We do not set our own advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies on this website. We do not sell information gathered through cookies, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.

If you connect your own integrations to the Shortlen service — for example an analytics or marketing tool you set up yourself — those tools operate under their own terms and cookie practices, which are separate from this policy.

How to control cookies

You can delete and block cookies through your browser's settings, and most browsers let you clear them at any time. Because the cookies we use are strictly necessary, blocking them may stop you from signing in or keeping a secure session, and parts of the Shortlen service may not work. We do not show a cookie consent banner because we set no advertising or tracking cookies that would require one.
