Free UTM builder

Add UTM tags to any link so your analytics can tell where a click came from. Fill in the fields and copy the tagged URL — it's free, needs no account, and is built right in your browser. Shorten the result on Shortlen when you're done.

The page you're sending people to, starting with https://

Where the traffic comes from — e.g. newsletter, google, instagram

The marketing channel — e.g. email, cpc, social

The campaign this link belongs to — e.g. spring-sale

Optional — paid-search keywords

Optional — tells two similar links apart, e.g. top-banner

Fill in the website URL and at least a source, medium and campaign to build your link.

What are UTM tags?

UTM tags are five small pieces of text you add to the end of a link — utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and the optional utm_term and utm_content. They don't change where the link goes; they just let analytics tools group clicks by where they came from. Keep them lowercase and consistent so your reports stay tidy. For a fuller walk-through, see how to tag links with UTM parameters.

Questions

Is this UTM builder free?

Yes. It's free, needs no account, and runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Which fields do I need?

Source, medium and campaign are the three most tools expect. Term and content are optional and used mostly for paid search and A/B tests.

Can I shorten the tagged link?

Yes — paste the tagged URL into Shortlen to get a short, branded version that keeps the UTM tags. See branded links for why that helps.
